Player Welfare

Club Administration
& Development
In addition to its normal day-to-day work - overseeing routine tasks in and around the Club - the Coiste play an important role in developing strategic initiatives such as planning for the future, improving facilities, facilitating growth and other special initiatives. You'll notice that Work in these areas has been divided into a range of Work Programmes under various Coiste member . The programmes are listed alongside their names above and you can find further details here.

A great deal of workgets done "behind the scenes" across all sections of the Club to ensure Cuala is organisationally and financially equipped for the challenges that lie ahead. It is important to acknowledge that the vast majority of this work was completed by Cuala members giving willingly and freely of their time. We are deeply appreciative of their efforts and support.
Achievement 2008
Achievement 2007

Cuala members are encouraged to use these Coiste structures when requesting assistance or information about any aspect of the Club. Most importantly, there is a role for everybody in these projects and all offers of help will be warmly received. If you are interested in helping with any of the areas outlined or if you have expertise that you think will be of benefit to Cuala, please don't hesitate to contact any member of the Coiste.

The authority of the Coiste is set down in the club's Constitution which requires the committee to be elected every year at the Clubs AGM.

The Assetts of the Club are vested in its Trustees. These are
Damien Byrne
(Cuala appointee),
Mikey Sheanon
(Cuala appointee),
John Costello
(Dublin County Board nominee)
Michael Delaney (Leinster Council nominee).
Club President
There is a long tradition in Cuala of recognising a lifetime's contribution of outstanding service to the Club by appointing a Club President. This is a very important role in the Club - sice our foundation, only 3 people have been appointed. In May 2007, a special committee, comprising former Club Chairmen, unanimously recommended that this honour be awarded to our Third President, Jimmy Doyle.

Games Administration
Routine administration of games falls under the various Age Group committees within 7 Games Sections each of which has its own distinct organisational structure with Committees elected at localised AGMs. A special 'seat' is reserved for each of these Sections at Coiste when "Games Representatives" are elected at the Club AGM. You can see for yourself what is going on in each section by following the links in the Games Sections ages
