Subscriptions, which can be paid to your Team Mentor, Games Treasurer
or in the Club Office, provide the necessary income to enable the
club to pay affiliation fees, public liability and property insurance
for the Sports and Social Centre, rent & rates. They also assist
with providing facilities and equipment etc. For players, your Annual
Subscription also covers your basic
GAA Injury Scheme contribution. Players who have not
paid their subscription are not registered, are not covered for
injury compensation and are thus ineligible to play for Cuala teams.
It is important to point out that only Members can become involved
in the "management" of teams - basically any activity
that involves supervising or taking charge of player activity including
training, matches, away trips and social events. Parents and supporters
who are not members are, of course, welcome to assist at club activites
by giving lifts, doing "the wash", accompanying players
on away trips etc. . However, they cannot take charge of any event
unless they are a member.
Only fully paid-up members are entitled to use any
of the clubs facilities (including the Bar), represent the club
in any capacity (e.g. Board Delegate, team mentor, referee etc.)
or participate in the decision making processes within the club
(e.g. as a member of the Coiste, Sub-Committees or at the Annual
General Meeting). Full details of the rights and duties of members
are set out in the club's Constitution
You are encouraged to avail of our facility for payment by Direct
Debit.
