Of the 42 Dublin clubs playing camogie, Cuala now have the third largest number of juvenile girls playing, with 375 players registered in 2013, and all from a position of having no juvenile camogie teams a short 9 years ago. While the future is very bright for camogie in the club we have not had an adult camogie team since 2008 and as a result fielding our first adult team in six years will still be a challenge.

Our current minor team will be entering next year’s adult league and in preparation will be entering into an adult summer cup to be played this June and July.  We are therefore looking for any older players who might be interested in giving it a go, no previous experience required!

The minor team currently train in Meadowvale on Tuesdays from 7.15pm to 8.30pm.  We also intend to run some ‘camogie’ for beginners sessions in the coming weeks and are happy to arrange these on an alternative evening if the interest is there. If you or anyone you know might be interested please contact Fintan Quill 086-8197352 /fintanquill@gmail.com for more details.

We’d love to see you there on Tuesday!
