The 2009 Coaching Conference is set to out-perform last years success with a new format, sessions tailored to cater for different ages, attention to both hurling and football and special topics on medical and games development.

The Coaching Department has lined-up an impressive list of contributers including Brendan Harpur (Dublin County & Leinster Council Coaching), Eve Talbott (Dublin Senior Camogie), John Coughlin (Coach to Dublin Senior Hurlers and to US Olympic sprint medallists), Pat Stevens (Coaching advisor to Cuala Minors and Longford & Sligo senior footballers). We’ll also have Cuala’s own Damien Byrne, former Dublin ‘keeper, recent Dublin Selector and current adult hurling development officer and Dr Betty Cody (Sports psychologist, Galway senior hurlers and Eire Og Carlow).

All mentors are encouraged to attend this worthwhile day-long session on Sat. 17 Jan – you’ll even get a free lunch.
