Thanks to all who have come to SGMs and AGMs – its encouraging to see good participation in this important annual gatherings: Unlucky weekend for the juvenile girls last week with the U12 (1996) D2 Shield Final against Clontarf and the U10 (1998) camogie game against St Annes being postponed due to the weather. The U12 Final is re-fixed for 1.30pm this Sunday, venue to be confirmed.

The Girls U10 (1998) footballers were also very unlucky to be beaten by a last minute goal by St Maurs in the D2 Shield Final. Despite the outcome it was a great performance which was celebrated in style back in the club after the game with pizzas and a re-run of the game on DVD.

The Girls U13s , 14s and 16s footballers are all playing in finals this weekend. U13 Girls are in Div 2 Championship final this Sunday against Ballinteer. Best of luck to the Intermediate and Junior Footballers who play Ballyboden and St.Margarets respectively. Both team are looking to continue their push for promotion.
Note Voting procedures for upcoming AGM will be posted on the Website. (Hint: If you can get through these – consider applying for a place in Mensa!). Well done to Michael Goodwin who obviously missed his calling as an election agent !
