Cuala’s Coaching Department has a long tradition of assisting the Dublin Ladies Mini Marathon. Like in previous years,  Dayo_needs_helpour task in 2016 will be to dispense what Cuala President would call “cool clear water” at the RDS. We’re looking for up to 80 volunteers to operate the station. SSIP Project Manager, Damien Byrne, reminds us that the event has traditionally enjoyed great support from Cuala teams from 15yrs up and we are also seeking to enlist the assistance of adult members in a supervisory roles. The 2016 race will be on the 6 June and duties on the day will be

  • Meet in Cuala for briefing in the morning
  • Transfer bus to the Water Station near RTE
  • Set up Water Station tables / barriers etc
  • Supply the runners with water / assistance
  • Encourage the runners
  • Dismantle the Water Station
  • Return to Cuala by bus

then its food and refreshments for all volunteers in Cuala clubhouse: The Coaching Department is appealing to all members to volunteer to be part of the biggest ‘Women Only’ Mini Marathon in the World.

All volunteers are insured under the Dublin Ladies Mini Marathon, so be a part of an enjoyable day and help thousands of women get across the line.
