Congratulations to Martha Byrne who received her ‘Player of the Month’ award from Joe Keane – Chairman of the Dublin Ladies County Board, following Dublin’s opening match of 2014 against Kerry. Martha started the second half of the match at the weekend and helped Dublin in their win against Kerry 3-09 to 07.
This is a very proud moment for Cuala and Ladies football. Martha is the first ever Cuala football player to play for Dublin at senior level. This alone is a huge achievement. Martha then also won the award for Player of the Month for June 2013. This certainly is one talented lady to watch. You go girl :)
