Congratulations to Ken O'Sullivan, Cuala Juvenile Secretary. Ken
has been elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Dublin County Juvenile
Board. It is a great honour for a Cuala man to be appointed to such
an important position and is recognition for the outstanding work
Ken does within Cuala and across the county. Well done Ken!. Well
done to the Minor 'B' Hurlers with a great win over Castleknock
last Sunday. Check out the match report for all the details and
find out who the stars were.
Hard luck to the U21 Hurlers who were beaten last Saturday by Lucan
Sarsfields. Considering the blustery conditions it was a very good
game of hurling and a very tight match. Match Report
Congrats too to Shane Murphy and Oisin Gough who will represent
Dublin in the annual Senior Hurling challenge between Dublin and
the Blue Stars on Dec 29th in Naomh Mearnog. Check out the commentary
on hill16 website http://www.hill16.ie/viewstoryhill16.asp?mainheading=Word+on+The+Hill&id=9324&viewstory=yes

Great turnout for the U12 Awards ceremony . Check out the website
photos. And of course there was the Mentors match beforehand. There
were all sorts of odd antics - throwing the ball, pulling down shorts,
wearing funny hats. The U12s Mentors won the football and the U11s
won the hurling. There was more pulling of hamstrings than on sliotars
and noticeably less players on the pitch at the end than at the
start. But it was great craic and looks like it could become an
annual event.Just as well, as it will take a year to recover!
