Cuala’s  under 11 Hurlers took part in this summer’s Camaint hurling tournament. Four midweek games in July were followed by semi finals for all teams in Parnell Park on Saturday 20th.
The Cuala lads performed very well with a late flurry of scores resulting in a 1 point win over Clontarf in an epic Shield semi final. (Pictures in the Cuala Gallery)
Castleknock were the opposition in the final and again the Cuala lads kept their best play to the second half and came from behind to record a 2 point win. A climb up the steps for a medal presentation for all the lads was followed by the presentation of the Shield to joint captains for the day Cormac Spain and Daniel Drummond. A great reward for the great skill, hard work and determination shown by the 19 lads who took part during July and on the finals day itself.
