Opportunity for Men’s Shed?

Cuala’s Sports & Social Integration Project is exploring the possibility of setting up a Men’s Shed for the local area. If you have any experience of setting up a men’s shed or are just interested in helping, Damian Byrne would like to hear from you.

Ladies Mini Marathon needs Cuala help

SSIP Project Manager, Damien Byrne, reminds us that the Womens Mini Marathon has traditionally enjoyed great support of Cuala. We want to maintain this fine tradition in 2016 and were looking for youth and adult volunteers to help administer Water Stations on 6 June.

Drug Awareness Education

Damian Byrne, our SSIP Project Manager, has drawn attention to this valuable Education Day offered by Community Awareness of Drugs. It is aimed at parents, coaches and young people over the age of 21. Taking place on Fri 22 April, the day will consists of experienced speakers who deal with the impact on children of substance abuse in the home. So book early as places are limited.
