Over 50 girls took part in a very successful Juvenile Girls Sponsored Walk last Saturday. Due to some competing events, including the U13 final, not all girls were able to take part so another walk will be held this weekend weather permitting. Anyone who hasn’t returned their sponsorship cards and money please do so next week.- Only one Juvenile girls game was played last weekend due to the weather. The 1996s played Clontarf in the U13 D2 Football Shield Final. After a slow start the girls played a brilliant second half but unfortunately it wasn’t to be and for the third year in a row the Cuala girls were beaten in the final by the same opposition. Once again after thegame however, the girls vowed to be back in the final next year and for as long as it takes to win the title!

The 96s camogie play-off for runners up spot in D3 was postponed but is fixed again for this Saturday in the Phoenix Park against Naomh Maur.-
