  • Junior Hurlers in Championship final thanks to great win over Civil Service in O’Toole Park. There was a big spread in the Herald last Tuesday with a good photographs. Good job!
  • Well done to U15 Hurlers on their victory by 10 points over Good Counsel in the Shield semi-final replay. Details of Final yet to be announced.
  • Senior Hurlers are in action in 1st Championship match against BallyBoden Saturday 15th September at 4pm in O’Toole Park.
  • Minor Hurlers in last Championship play-off match against BallyBoden on Sunday 16th September.
  • U12 girls had a comprehensive win against Dwyers last Saturday 6-08 to 0-04.
  • Both U11s hurling teams beat St.Bridgets last Saturday in two excellent matches.
  • Dont forget the All-Ireland U 21 final in Croker on Sunday 9th Dublin V Galway.
  • Cuala Academy Enrolment Day is this Saturday 8th September from 10 am to 12 noon. The Academy training resumes Saturday 15th September.
  • Dont forget All Ireland Football Forecast Competition. We need all mentors to push their teams as this is important fund-raiser for the Juvenile section. Best seller gets a prize – target for each seller is 10 lines (only €20).
  • It has been confirmed that the club can re-allocate a previously awarded Sports Grant of €80k to much needed works in Dalkey. Thanks in particular to local pols Mary Hanafin and Barry Andrews for their help behind the scenes.
  • Cuala Signage erected on Hyde Road and outside of the building painted. Thanks to Ed, Tony, Bart, Willie Mc and John for their hard work. Need more help with inside the hall and clubhouse. Volunteers where are ye?
  • Cuala Corporate Lunch – affectionately known as “Dessies Dinner” is on Friday 15th September in Burlington Hotel. Contact Willy Braine.
  • Family Fun Day – 30th September promises to be a great day. All age groups are asked to manage their usual stalls.
