A scintillating 3 goal salvo in the 3rd quarter saw the Minor ‘A’ team overcome a gallant St. Vincents team in O’Toole Park, Crumlin on Wednesday 24th July. Cuala retain the Cup for another year and now look forward with confidence to the start of the Minor Championship in September.

This was an outstanding performance from a very talented team. Despite fielding without a number of key regulars, Cuala had enough ammunition up front to cause problems for a physically stronger St. Vincent’s team who had beaten Ballyboden and Crokes to make the Final. Teamwork, hard-work and a ‘never-say-die’ determination all over the pitch gave Cuala the edge on the day.
