In advance of the commencement of the Act the Garda Central Vetting Unit has issued a New Garda Vetting Application Form that comes into effect on Friday 11th July 2014. The new form, available here, replaces the old form as previously used by the GAA and others. There is a Q & A document and a guide on how to fill out the form attached below. Unfortunately, as and from 11th July 2014, we cannot accept any Garda Vetting applications on the old form.
Forms should be placed in a sealed envelope & marked “Garda Vetting Application for the attention of the Child Protection Officer” and handed to one of Cuala’s Child Protection Officers or placed in the secure letterbox at the Cuala Hall. Please note if the hand writing is not legible, the form will be rejected and all address from birth to present day must be included.
