In May, Cuala introduced Amgen as a major Men’s Football and Women’s Section Sponsor. Not only did partnership offer valuable support to our players on the field but it is particularly significant in being the first ever GAA club sponsorship to include education and employment incentives for club members, including a Bursary, Mentoring and Internship opportunities. We’ve just announced details of the Bursary Award.
Cuala members will be saddened to learn of the death of club and county stalwart John Bailey.
John served ten years as Chairman of the Dublin GAA County Board.
During his tenure he initiated the re development of Parnell Park and significant investment in promoting juvenile participation in Hurling, Camogie and Football.
Interested in taking up the great game of hurling for the first time or maybe you played some hurling in the distant or recent past and would love to give it a go again?
We are looking to get some social hurling going in Cuala for our adult men (don’t have to be Dads!) who may have just been introduced to the sport or have previously played and want to play some organised hurling in a fun and social environment.
Cuala will host the return of the Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative for Dublin South in September for 15-18 year years of age who are interested in developing their leadership skills and willing to commit to 20 evenings of workshops over the academic year. The application date has now been extended to July 19th.
