Cuala make long awaited return to adult Camogie Championship 1 year ahead of plan!

With no adult camogie team since 2008, the original goal was for Cuala to make a return to adult competition in 2015 when our current crop of minors came of age. However, after a very successful venture in this summer’s Adult Summer Cup we’re ahead of schedule and Cuala will now compete in this year’s Dublin Senior 7 Adult championship. The team will be backboned by this year’s minor and U16 panels, the majority of whom have come through the Cuala Academy, and will be strongly supported by a number of returned ex-seniors players and some adult footballers who have recently taken up the game. Cuala play in Group 2 of the Senior 7 Championship alongside Trinity Gaels, Parnells, Craobh Chiarain, Round Tower and Ballinteer St Johns. Our first game is this Tuesday 9th vs. Trinity Gaels in Meadowvale at 6.30pm. This is another very significant step in the continuing development of camogie in the club so as much support as possible is requested.
