Following on Jim O’Reilly captaining Dublins Under 14s in this years Tony Forristal tournament we have learned that Kevin Kirwan had the honour of captaining the Dublin Under 16s in this years Michael Foley tournament in Wexford.

The Michael Foley tournament is held in Pairc Carmen, Wexford.

Dublin made it through to the semi-final and were narrowly beaten by 4 points by the eventual winners (guess who!) Kilkenny. Dublin then played the final of the shield and were beaten by Wexford by a goal  after Dublin having two what appeared  to perfectly legitimate goals disallowed by the ‘LOCAL WEXFORD’ ref!!! according to Kevins Granny…
